He Pou a Rangi Climate Change Commission is consulting on three pieces of work regarding Aotearoa New Zealand's emissions reduction target and emissions budgets.

Our role is to provide independent, impartial, expert advice to the government of the day about the choices it has. The purpose of the work we are consulting on is to help chart Aotearoa New Zealand's path to a resilient low emissions society and economy.

This is an important chance to have your say because the Government's decisions will affect everyone's lives and livelihoods, the whenua and moana, and our country's global reputation.

About the consultation

Between 8 April and 31 May 2024, we're seeking public feedback on three projects:

Iwi/Māori zui series

The purpose of each zui is to present the core content regarding consultation alongside kaupapa Māori specific content. Attendees have the opportunity to ask pātai or kōrero within the zui.

We are particularly interested in hearing your pātai and views, and support those interested in making a submission.

Access zui through the links provided below.
